MyEllesa Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit the ellesa.se website (the “Website”) or make purchases through the Website.

Personal information we collect

When you visit the Website, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. As you browse the Website, we also collect information about the specific web pages or products that you view, the web pages or search terms that led you to the Website, and information about how you interact with the Website. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “device information.”

We collect device information using the following technologies:

- Cookies are files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

- Log files track website activity, and collect information including IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

- Web beacons , "tags," and "pixels"** are electronic files used to store information about how you browse the Site. Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, such as your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card number, PayPal username), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as "Order Information."

When we refer to “Personal Data” in this Privacy Policy, we mean both Device Data and Order Data.

How do we use your personal information?

We generally use the Order Information that we collect generally to process any orders placed through the Site (including processing payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

- To communicate with you;

- To check our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

- When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising about our products or services.

- External product suppliers and warehouses receive information about the contents of the order and the buyer's delivery address: this information is necessary to arrange delivery.

- Several suppliers work together with the store, and for each order it can be a completely different company.

- If you want to know which supplier/warehouse company received the buyer's information, you can contact us.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us detect potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to evaluate the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).

By using our website, you (the visitor) agree to third parties processing your IP address to determine your location for currency conversion. You also agree to this currency being stored in your browser's session cookie (a temporary cookie that is automatically deleted when you close your browser). We do this so that the selected currency remains consistent when you are browsing our website, so that prices can be converted to your (visitor's) local currency.

Text Marketing and Messaging: By providing your phone number at checkout and making a purchase, or placing an order through our order form or keywords, you agree to receive text messages (about your order, including abandoned cart reminders) and text marketing offers. No more than 6 marketing text messages may be sent per month. You agree that consent is not a condition of purchase.

If you wish to opt out of receiving SMS marketing messages and text messages, reply STOP to any mobile messages we send or use the unsubscribe link provided in any of our messages. You understand and agree that alternative means of canceling an order, such as using alternative words or requests, are not considered a reasonable means of canceling an order. Message and data fees may apply.

If you have any questions, you can text the number you received the messages from, HELP. You can also contact us for more information. If you want to cancel your order, please follow the procedures mentioned above.
